In 26.02.2018 the Rector of the North Caucasian State Humanitarian Technological Academy Ruslan Makharovich Kochkarov participated in  the India Russia Educational Conference.

Rectors of all leading Universities of the Russian Federation  took part in this conference in order to discuss terms, conditions  and perspectives of international cooperation in education and find the mechanisms of attracting applicants from one of the  largest countries in the world- India. 

The conference was held by the initiatives and invitation of the Embassy of India and personally on the name of mr. Pankaj Sarana who opened the Conference and noted that today more than 10 000 students from India are being taught and this  number is increasing, but still it is less than it could actually be. And the above mentioned number is much less than in Europe and the USA.

In his speech the Rector of the Academy Ruslan Makharovich Kochkarov noted that in NCSHTA we pay much attention and make much efforts in work with students from India. Within last days the amount of students increased for several times.

This is the second year of having Indian students in the Academy in the speciality 31.05.01 “General Medicine “.

In 2016 there were 50 students from India.

In 2017 there are 104 students.

So our Academy gradually is moving to a new level of training highly professional future medical staff and also making partners with foreign universities.

Within first three years of education, the teaching process is held in English language.  For teaching some subjects foreign professors are invited.

Additional to that an intensive teaching of Russian language to Indian students is held.

This fact helps provide and expand Russian culture and values abroad.

Commenting the speech of the Ambassador concerning the high interest of his compatriots in Medical education and that 90% of all Indian students are studying biomedical sciences,Ruslan Makharovich noted that this proves the high level and competitiveness of Russian Educational system. 

High quality of level of knowledge and law fee structure make Russia and Karachay-Cherkess Republic in particular attractive for a large number of Indian students.

Within this meeting of the Rector with the representatives of the Indian part future plans of creating unified educational space for the students from India and Karachay-Cherkess Republic were discussed.
